Google your missing shoes in the morning - soon

Once again, I was going through the internet and came across the following article on "Turning physical products into digital information services "

In reality, emitters and microchips (shall we call them nanochips now? almost) are really small and can give large amounts of information and deal with all sorts of weather conditions and situations by being quite tougher thanks to tech.

There are already smart shirts on the market that measure heartrate and general health levels and can communicate that information to the ambulance if things seem to be going wrong.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_shirt

I wouldn't be surprised we didn't have smart shoes, smart glasses, smart everything, where everything is connected to your computer, the cloud etc... in the near future.

Why not your iphone telling you in the morning that you don't have lots of socks left in the drawer (gps devices in socks) and you should do a wash?

I would love to set up my outfit in the morning, look in the mirror, and say "WOW, this is a great set combination, I'm going to save it."  In the next while, perhaps you want to make the outfit work again, so you bring it up on your smartphone app and the phone tells you if all items are available in your closet/dresser, and if an item is dirty in the hamper, suggest to you another item of the same color as a replacement.

All this is possible with current technology.

The question is, who will pioneer this and disrupt the market with the proper technologies and leverage to bring it global?
