Revolution Science - New Math Suggests Universe is Infinite

You read the title.  This is yet another nicely written and researched scientific paper that gives a TOTALLY different perspective of our understanding of the universe. i.e. according to these calculations, the Universe would have no beginning, no end and would be of a constant "size".

As always, I like to check the sources of these things to see if it has validity and looking at this one, its published in Physics Letters B, in the theories section, not in the cosmological or physics section.  I am unsure if Physics Letters B theories get peer reviewed at this point so I issue a caution that this is just an interesting discussion of possibilities that can lead to really interesting stuff than something that is super solid (for the time being).

In essence the physicists Ahmed Farag Ali (Center for Fundamental Physics, Giza, Egypt) and Saurya Das (University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge, Canada), both active university professors in their respective institutions, have collaborated to look at the math that describes the formation and movements of the universe in a very different way.

This link gives a good analysis summary of the paper itself.  Well written I must say.

My video below goes into a bit of details and some extra thoughts I have on the subject.  Check it out.  This subject is filled with psychological charge as changing from Big Bang to an infinite Universe does have significant impact on how we think of ourselves and our place as conscious beings within... :)  Check it out!

In summary, what Prof Ali and Prof Das did was to substitute a core mathematical process called geodesics with (Bohmian) quantal trajectories and patched the math to what we can observe of the universe and saw if the mathematical result along with Einstein's general relativity would be better able to predict other parts of the universe we currently are able to observe.

From what I can see, this theory, as far as predictability of reality, works just as well as the Big Bang Theory.

Big Bang model diagram

The reason the Big Bang Theory became more popular was that particles in the current universe tend to always follow geodesic patterns, so I believe it was just more natural to approach the question of "how did the Universe come to be?" using those same models.

The problem encountered is that the results of geodesics is that you always end up with singularities, points where mass always converges together.  So its only natural that following this logic with the math, the very beginning of the Universe would naturally be a single singularity, a single point of matter where everything exists at once.

The problem of the Big Bang Theory and using geodesics to predict this, is that it cannot calculate what happens at the moment of the universe creation and, well, what was there prior.

Of course the Big Bang Theory was well in line with deist concepts of God creating things from a single snap of his fingers many years ago, but in a realistic sense, most scientists (and most people) have always been uncomfortable, rationally, with such a large amount of mass being in a single point and then exploding outwards to create ... everything....

Not to mention that using this math, we end up with all sorts of forces that must be accounted for with theoretical concepts like Dark Matter and Dark Energy, concepts put in as placeholders to fill in the gaps we can't figure out.  And Big Bang Theorists are therefore always chasing after these Dark elements to give credence to the theory.

Infinite Universe (how can we illustrate something that has no age and size?
In the case of the "Cosmology from Quantum Potential" paper by Das and Ali, with quantal trajectories, singularities are, in contrast, actually mathematically impossible by definition of the mathematical assumptions.  So we're trading the guarantee of a singularity with the impossibility of singularities.

What occurs in the math is that we also don't end up with Dark Matter and Dark Energies, which is good since those buggers are really annoying.  Instead, for things to work, the universe has to be filled with quantum fluid made up of really tiny particles.  All macro matter, like atoms and bigger, are floating in this soup.  And based on their math, things all come together nicely.  And in this case, the universe has always been and always will be (no age).

Which is better?  Time will tell.  The issue is that we're dealing with lots of assumptions we can't test really in both cases.  The interesting thing to me is that now there are two seemingly valid theories up in play that both carry annoying assumptions but give very different results.

Food for thought really.

This blog by Dr. Hugh Ross about this paper really does a good job at giving pros and cons of the new theories.

Its obvious that Dr. Hugh Ross is a God-fearing man, given his bio but its a good blog from another perspective so I like it.

As for myself, I'm an atheist and a Raƫlian so I'm partial philosophically to the Infinite Universe theory.

Science will continue poking at things and at some point in time we'll find a good model that will figure everything out.

My blog about Nassim Haramein is a good tangent to take on the explanation of the fabric of the universe (and the peer-reviewed paper that was published by the man not long ago.  :)

Revolution Science - Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass by Nassim Haramein

I would like to take the time today to showcase some real science for a change.  By real science I mean science from a highly credible individual from academia that published some papers that were peer-reviewed and accepted in the scientific community.

In a nutshell, the results of the papers produced can be used as springboards for brand new thinking, new valid science and of course, applications that can affect our lives.
Today, I'll be writing about Nassim Haramein who wrote a revolutionary paper called "Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass".  Just to give you some context of legitimacy, Dr. Haramein is the Director of Research at the Hawaii Institute for Unified Physics, a very public organization that focuses on solving the unified field theories.  The institute is not well known or large but it has produced several peer-reviewed papers over the years.

This has come to me, with thanks, from a bright mind that has subscribed to my Youtube channel, whose name I cannot find anymore.  This is the beauty of the connection we have with others through the Internet isn't it?

Before I describe what Dr. Haramein's paper means to us today, here is my youtube video that describes things verbally for those of you who prefer vids:

So this is going to be a summary because the impact of what M. Haramein's research is ASTOUNDING.

We need to travel back to 1820 before we get to M. Haramein though to put context to things.  Starting in 1820 with physicist James Clerk Maxwell, scientists started to try to unify scientific concepts that were until then quite separate.  In Maxwell's case, he figured out how electromagnetic fields play with the speed of light in his "Dynamic Theory of the Electromagnetic Field" paper.  This was ground breaking because until then every little bit of science describing the natural world was separate sciences and disconnected.

Over time, including Albert Einstein's work in 1915 where he created the first true version of the "Unified Field Theory", an attempt to unify more elements like gravitational forces to Maxwell's and others in other to put all the little bits of science that would explain how the world works together.  He did a great job but he still had some pieces missing.  It is even said that he kept trying until the day of his death.

If we could only understand how everything kind of plays together, then we could possibly create applications that would be quite awesome.

Well, possibly with M. Haradeim's research, we can start doing just that.  What he did in a nutshell is simply add a critical part to the giants that came before him, adding torque to the Unified Field Theory, and it seems to all work out.

As a result of the math, it seems like the infinitively small (protons, subatomic particles etc...), who have spin/torque, behave in exactly the same way as the infinitively large (galaxies, solar systems, planets etc....).  This new element to the equations, the torque part, explains how information in the universe propagates and "talks" to each other in very different ways, not through any magical or indescribable means.

Wow.

As a consequence, this understanding can allow us to, for example, draw energy from the void within atoms, which is not really void/empty at all since it contains forces that could potentially be tapped.

Engineers get ready !  We need you to figure out how to tap into those spin and torque forces that are present in EVERYTHING to power all sorts of processes without harming anything on a macro level, like the environment, people, animals etc....

I've personally reviewed the paper "Quantum Gravity and the Holographic Mass".   I have also checked out the following resources which I highly recommend:

Here is an excellent web site summarizing the research from Resonance.is :

Here is an interesting deep interview by Cutting Edge Consciousness with Dr. Nassim Haramein:

Now, let's be clear for those of you who have been following me to evaluate M. Mehran Keshe's research and Foundation:  Dr. Haramein is the real deal... not a person or science that I shed doubt on at all.  There is NO application that has emerged so far based directly on Dr. Haramein's research, which was published in 2013.  BUT, we can start working with the new knowledge to create something real, safe and useful for humanity today.

And that's where my mind is at.  In essence, this new understanding could allow us to manipulate gravity, matter, energy, magnetism in ways we could not conceive before.  Science building upon science at work !
